It has come to my attention that for a romance author, I spend an awful lot of time not writing…
Here’s what I’ve been up to instead:
Heading through the Rocky Mountains on vacation with my family was the perfect distraction from writing.
I’m not sure if I would do the coaster again. It was fun, but my PTSD doesn’t like the sensation of my stomach dropping.
Kids said it was a definite do again scenario!
Crocheting is so regulating, but I have to admit it does get in the way of writing.
Plus, I’ve got a ridiculous number of sweaters now!
The beach is my happy place, but I don’t get there nearly often enough.
Mystic Beach is my favourite beach that is an easy drive from home.
It’s a bit too far to go regularly, but when I get the chance, it’s wonderful.
Did I mention there is a waterfall and a sea cave?
It even appears in a bonus book…
Who doesn’t like taking a moment out of their day to read their tarot cards?
You never know what you might learn…
Maybe it’s that it’s time for this romance author to try writing a book that isn’t a romance… 😲
I know it’s awkward that these are in two different videos. It’s a social media thing. And I apparently didn’t save the full version.
But let’s be real—awkward is my kind of my vibe. Or brand? 🤷♀️
Social Media does not come easy for me! I don’t understand it. Could live my entire life without it.
Although, I do enjoy comedians and kitten videos. But I digress.
As an indie romance author, I’ve got to market and promote my books, and that means braving social media.
Check out this video where I speak to that challenge—and how I’m so awkward!!!
Actually, you can see that part for yourself!
