I’m a contemporary romance author (with BIG plans to expand into fantasy romance and maybe some straight up fantasy), so you might be wondering why do I have a blog about my wandering?
The answer is simple.
I LOVE the outdoors! I recharge my imagination and find inspiration by exploring. And I thought that maybe you, as my reader, just might be interested in a little peek into that process!
Also, my main contemporary romance series—West Coast Romance—is set on Vancouver Island, where I live and do most of my roaming; a blog is a simple way for me to share that with you.

As part of my writing process, I create a Pinterest board for each novel where I pin pictures, places, and activities that inspire the creativity of that particular novel. Sometimes I can’t find the pins I’m looking for on Pinterest, but I have them in my pictures on my phone! But, it felt weird just posting my pictures to Pinterest with a link to my author website. So, Wandering With Nicole was born.
My plan is to write short posts about the adventures that I’ve gotten up to. I will also go back and write about some of my past adventures—like when I sailed around the northern tip of Vancouver Island!
I hope my you find some inspiration of your own within my wanderings!
